How to Send a Parcel from Nepal to South Korea

How to Send a Parcel from Nepal to South Korea

Sending a box to someone in South Korea is easy once you know what to prepare. This checklist covers everything from the first message to delivery.

1. Decide what to send

Clothes, dry food, spices, pickles, sealed snacks, documents, gifts and prescribed medicine are usually accepted. Meat, fresh produce, seeds, loose batteries, power banks and anything flammable are not. See the full list in our shipping guide, or send us a photo on WhatsApp if you are unsure.

2. Get the receiver’s details

Korean customs needs the receiver’s full name as on their ID, their address in Korea (in Korean if possible), a Korean phone number and their ARC or passport number. If they have a Personal Customs Clearance Code (PCCC), bring that too. Missing ID numbers are the most common reason parcels wait at customs.

3. Check the price

Use the rate calculator with an estimate of the weight. Everything for one receiver in one box is usually cheaper, because tax is charged per box. Our Nepal to Korea cargo rates page explains how the price is worked out.

4. Bring it to our office

Bring your items to our office in Balaju, unpacked if possible, together with your citizenship card or passport and a prescription for any medicine. We pack, weigh and give you the final price and a tracking number for each box.

5. Track it to the door

Enter the number from your receipt on our tracking page. Once the parcel reaches Korea you see the Korea Post scans in English, up to delivery. Copy the link and send it to the receiver.
