How the price is worked out
Every box is weighed at our office after it is packed, and that weight sets the price. For smaller parcels the price goes up in half-kilo steps. Heavier parcels are charged per whole kilo at a lower rate per kilo. The table and the calculator on this page use our current price list, so you can see the exact amount for your weight.
Tax per box
A fixed tax is added for each box (shown in the box on this page). Two boxes of 10 kg pay the tax twice, while one box of 20 kg pays it once. If everything fits safely in one box, that is usually cheaper.
Parcel, medicine and documents
There are separate prices for normal parcels, for medicine and for documents. Choose the service in the calculator to see each price.
Extra charges for some items
Some items have a small extra charge because they need extra packing or handling, for example ghee, oil or other liquids per bottle. Any extra charges for Korea are listed on this page and added automatically in the calculator.
What is not included
Import duty or tax charged by Korean customs is not part of our price. If customs charges it, the receiver pays it in Korea. We tell you in advance when duty is likely, for example for heavier parcels.
Ways to keep the cost down
- Put everything for one receiver in one box rather than several small boxes, so the tax is paid once.
- Look at the weight steps in the table: a parcel just over a step costs the next step up.
- Remove extra outer packaging that adds weight but does not protect anything. We pack the box properly for you.
Getting a confirmed price
The calculator gives an estimate. Send it to us on WhatsApp with a photo of what you want to send, and we will confirm the price. The final price is set when we weigh the packed box at our office in Balaju.
