Sending a parcel from Nepal to Australia
We send parcels from Kathmandu to Australia: clothes, documents, gifts, packaged food and prescribed medicine. We check and pack everything at our Balaju office, prepare the export papers and send it by air. In Australia the courier delivers it to the receiver’s address.
Food and Australian biosecurity
Australia checks food, plant and animal products very carefully at the border. Tell us exactly what food is in the box so it can be declared correctly. Food that is not declared can be held or destroyed, and it can delay the whole parcel.
- Meat cannot be sent to Australia.
- Fresh fruit and vegetables, seeds, plants and soil are not accepted.
- Packaged, sealed food in its original packing is the safest choice. Ask us before packing anything home-made.
Other items
Clothes, shoes, documents, books, handicrafts and gifts are usually fine. Prescribed medicine is accepted with a copy of the prescription, in personal quantities. Loose batteries and power banks, anything flammable or hazardous, cash and jewellery, counterfeit goods and anything illegal in Nepal or Australia are not accepted.
Receiver details
Please bring the receiver’s full name, the full address with suburb, state and postcode, and an Australian phone number.
Tracking and duty
Your Woori tracking number works on our tracking page, which also shows the courier’s own tracking number once the parcel is handed over. If Australian customs charges duty or tax, the receiver pays it.
