Sending a parcel from Nepal to the United Kingdom
We send parcels from our Balaju office in Kathmandu to the UK: clothes, documents, gifts, packaged food and prescribed medicine. We check and pack everything, prepare the export papers and send it by air. In the UK the courier delivers it to the receiver’s address.
What you can send to the UK
- Clothes, shoes and household goods
- Dry food and sealed snacks in their original packing, spices and pickles (double-bagged)
- Prescribed medicine with a copy of the prescription, in personal quantities
- Documents, books, handicrafts and gifts
Please ask us before packing any meat or dairy products: UK rules for these foods are strict. Loose batteries and power banks, anything flammable or hazardous, cash and jewellery, counterfeit goods, fresh produce and seeds, and anything illegal in Nepal or the UK are not accepted.
Receiver details
Bring the receiver’s full name, the full UK address with postcode, and a UK phone number. The postcode is important for delivery.
Customs, VAT and duty
UK customs may charge import VAT or duty on a parcel. If it does, the receiver pays it, usually before delivery. We tell you in advance when this is likely.
Tracking
Your Woori tracking number works on our tracking page. Once the parcel is handed to the courier, the page also shows the courier’s own tracking number and a link to follow it.
